Terms of Service

The service
InkShip prints the documents you upload and mails them to the address you provide, within Canada. The service is operated by InkShip, a British Columbia (Canada) business. Contact us at hello@inkship.ca. Our mailing address is available on request.
By placing an order, you accept these terms.
Orders and prices
Prices are in Canadian dollars and shown before payment. The total includes printing, charged per page, and postage, which depends on the number of sheets and the mailing option.
The number of pages billed is the number our servers count in your file. If the count is an estimate (some Word files), we tell you before payment.
A mailing is limited to 50 sheets (about 250 g). No tax is added to the prices shown.
Payment
Payment is processed by Stripe. InkShip never sees or stores your card number. Your order is confirmed by email once payment is received.
Timing
We print your document and hand it to Canada Post within 24 business hours of payment. Delivery then usually takes 3 to 7 business days, depending on the destination.
Delivery time depends on Canada Post and is not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by Canada Post, a strike, weather or an incomplete address. If your document must arrive by a specific date (a legal deadline, for example), allow extra time.
Your responsibilities
You confirm that you have the right to send the document and that its content is lawful. We refuse content that is threatening, harassing, fraudulent or that infringes the rights of others, and we may cancel and refund an order we believe breaches these terms.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the recipient's address and of the document's content. We print the file as is: we do not proofread or correct it, and we do not give legal advice.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel your order for a full refund as long as the document has not been printed. Email us as soon as possible at hello@inkship.ca with your order number.
Once the document is printed, the order cannot be refunded, except for our own mistake (misprint, missing pages, mailing to an address other than the one you gave). In that case, we reprint and resend free of charge, or refund you.
Regular mail has no tracking: we cannot investigate a lost regular mailing. For lost registered mail, we help you file a claim with Canada Post.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for an order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not responsible for the consequences of a delayed or lost delivery, such as a missed legal deadline.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer protection laws that apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute falls under the courts of British Columbia, unless the law of your province lets you go to your local courts.
Changes
We may change these terms. The version that applies to an order is the one in force at the time of payment.
